Hi Everyone,
Dec is the time where we pause to think of a year that is spinning away. Some died along the way (how sad!). Some sighing for lost time or the lack of it. Me? I'm determined to relive part of my life in USM. Yes, I'm spending 3 days in USM Desasiswa (15-17 Dec 08). I love to be back as an academician looking at my undergraduate days. I know too that I would one day be back in Miami (from where I shaped my future) and Geneva (my dream place).
Most of us would be travelling to take time off. Do go and see the world, not just sightseeing! You'll come back a different person. I've been places in my professional capacity. I've walked in high and low places with unfiltered lens. Simple living is what matter most. Here's wishing everyone a Blessed Christmas! Enjoy your new year!

Dear Friends,
Just got nems from William Tay fr Down Under re the death of one of our teachers- Mr. AC Nonis. Died of cancer on 2nd Dec. He was the dedicated Scout Master and also the school Disciplinarian together with Mr. Das and Mr. Teja Singh all three usually in the same room just beside the boys toilet,remember???
Anyone of you in M'cca, please try to attend his funeral tomorrow 4th Dec. His house is in Jln. Dato Palembang in Bukit Baru.

After much deliberation, I have started a forum for just mhs7577 alumni. This is different from the Yahoo E-group in that it is web based, and categorised. This has it's advantages, and one of it is that junk mails are reduced, and the forum achieves its purpose as a place for discussion.

Hi All,
I'm sure everybody are now beginning to get back to our regular routine after the Raya holidays. But remember, Deepavali is just round the corner and Raya open houses are still going strong.
I've been getting enquiries about open houses from a few non Muslim friends. Due to various "technical" reasons, I will not be holding one this year, so I cannot accommodate their requests. However, to ride on the success of our recent Reunion organised by Amardas et. al., a few of us thought that it will be a good idea to hold one.

I hope you all had a good Raya and restive holidays. With all the ketupat and rendang, maybe it's now time to 'hit the road' or work out at the gym to lose some kg.
To answer your question and enlighten the others, the "weird" postings were by members who were in the group prior to the 're-activation'. At that time, there was no control of membership. I have just reconfigured that so that all aplication must be approved from now on.
Hope that clears the air, and would get some of you guys on board.

I read the last entry from u re the e-group mhs7577@yahoo.com. If what u say is true that it's suppose to be private & 4 members only,how come I see some names I don't recognise and they have rubbish mails in the e-group??? There's one Junelle & Tai.... with all their wierd adverts for their questionable products also in the mail?? I'm a bit confused!! If they are private & for members only why non-members are also in?? Unless of course my memory is failing me that bad I can't remember who they are!

I'm sorry you feel offended by those postings.
But my position is that there will be no censorship at the mhs7577 e-group.
Unlike this forum, where it's public and some form of restrain has to be practised ... but that e-group is private and a members-only forum.
